Please be safe!
As we prepare for Hurricane Sandy, please stay in side and stay safe. Know where the closest Red Cross or community shelter is in case of an emergency. Stay safe and stay indoors. We will be trying to update our Facebook and Twitter with as much information as we can during the storm and after it passes.

"We Do Whatever We Can"
Huge thanks to videographer Jake Estes for capturing a "typical" day at Restoring Rutland. And more importantly, thanks to all the great volunteers who are making a difference! Check the times at the right for our hours this week.
What is Restoring Rutland All About?
We are currently looking for contributions in two ways. First, there are ongoing efforts to provide food, water, ice, and other supplies to people trapped in Mendon and Killington, Vermont as a result of Hurricane Irene.
Additionally the local food banks are in desperate need, so if you can collect supplies, donate supplies, or help staff 34 Strongs ave (which has become a command center for some of these efforts) please contact Katye Robare Munger who will be coordinating those efforts. Volunteers are needed today!
Second, we will be out in the community working along side other agencies this weekend starting some of the physical restoration. More details will be given on this aspect as it develops.
Above are photos from our Sept 1 load-up for flood victims in Killington
We want to thank you all for your support and outpouring of love. It is because of people like you why Vermont remains strong and will return to its' traditional beauty and prominence soon.
The hours for the drop off site are on the right side of the page.
